Company History of Poulten & Graf Ltd

Poulten and Graf company history: The Poulten & Graf group was formed, at the new Millennium, on 31st December 1999 by bringing together two long established family companies, John Poulten Limited, based in Barking,England, and Walter Graf and Co. based in Wertheim, Germany.

The Group comprises Poulten & Graf Holdings GmbH with its two manufacturing subsidiaries, Poulten & Graf Limited and Poulten & Graf GmbH, both 100% owned by Poulten & Graf Holdings GmbH.

The objective of the new enterprise was to improve the production capabilities of both the former companies and to increase market share throughout Europe and beyond. The Chairmen of the holding company are John Poulten and Hans Graf, with Hans Graf as the Managing Director of Poulten & Graf Limited and Poulten and Graf GmbH. Following the merger, production was rationalised and the product range extended to improve the breadth of service available to our customers.

Additionally, strong relationships with our European partners have been established to further extend the business to create a prosperous organisation with a significant share of the glassware and liquid handling markets. Over the years, constant efforts have been made to improve customer service and administration and to build on the existing strengths and reputation of the founding companies as manufacturers and suppliers of high quality glassware and liquid handling products.

The directors and employees of the Group companies are also keen to preserve the family character of the constituent companies and to provide secure employment for our staff as well as quality products for our customers. The best known of the product ranges offered by the companies are VOLAC® and FORTUNA®.
